The International Factoring Association (“IFA”), the largest trade association for the commercial finance industry, announced May 26 that Tony Furman, co-founder and president of the Interstate Capital Group of Companies, was appointed as a new member of the IFA Board of Advisors. “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to bring the expertise and insights of such a distinguished group of individuals to our advisory board,” said Bert Goldberg, IFA executive director.
Mr. Furman is a 1982 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. He is an alumni of Leadership El Paso, an active member of World Presidents Organization, and an immediate past Advisory Board Member of Chase Bank in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Furman has been married for 28 years and resides in El Paso where he has served on various non-profit boards.
