Interstate Capital, a New Mexico-based factoring company continues a long tradition of corporate support to nonprofit organizations in 2017, with both its giving programs and employee participation in El Paso-area events. Interstate Capital executives and staff members serve on nonprofit boards and the company donates to the El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation, the El Paso Community Foundation, the El Paso Jewish Federation, the Tom Lea Institute, local schools, and other worthy community causes.
Many employees volunteer and take part in fundraisers as individuals, but the company staff also gets together for organized events. Earlier this month, more than 60 employees and family members took part in the Rio Grande Cancer Foundation 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for local cancer patients and treatment programs. Next month many employees will take part in the Braden Aboud Foundation Run/Walk, one of the region’s largest fundraising events.
