Gilbert Martinez, Account Manager of the Month for September 2015, joined the company’s Small Trucking factoring division in September 2014, after starting out in ICC’s freight bill funding department. The company also honored him this month on Veteran’s Day: he joined the Army when he turned 17, after convincing his father to sign permission papers, and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as an infantry soldier. Mr. Martinez, a busy single father with a teen-aged daughter, credits the time management skills he learned in the Army as a key to his business success. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas-El Paso.
Stuart Scott, Account Manager of the Month for October 2105, joined Interstate Capital in February 2007 and has more than 18 years of experience in invoice factoring. Prior to joining ICC, Mr. Scott ran a factoring company and spent 15 years in commercial banking. Although he started in transportation factoring, for many years he has been ICC’s leading specialist in factoring for the staffing industry. His clients own a variety of temporary personnel firms, including those in medical, construction, oil field, janitorial, maintenance, and office staffing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University.
